The Courts we serve
If you need information about particular activities or services regarding the 4 Courts we support, we encourage you to visit their respective websites.
Innovation is shaping the way justice is administered
The Courts Administration Service has deployed a neural translation AI solution to improve the accessibility and timeliness of court decisions in both official languages. The AI solution is complementary to the translation, it does not replace the human doing the work. This solution helps improve access to justice in both official languages and also demonstrates how AI can be used in a responsible way to respect public service values such as transparency and linguistic duality. At this time, we are using the neural translation AI solution to support the translation of decisions from the 4 national Courts that are already published in one language, and to support the translation of draft decisions of the Federal Court.
Important information
Court Security Screening
Visitors to the Federal Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada and the Tax Court of Canada must consent to screening as a condition of access.
T1204 - Government Services Contract Payments
In order to keep in line with our Green initiative, the Courts Administration Service (CAS) will no longer be providing a copy of the T1204 slip to recipients. CAS will continue to meet Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requirements by reporting the T1204 slip information to CRA. For any general question related to T1204 slips please refer to CRA.
